Obituary of Calvin Rex Huddleston

Funeral services for Calvin Rex Huddleston, age 55, of Woodland will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020, at 2:00 PM Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Wally Williamson and Bro. Ralph Caldwell officiating.  Burial will follow at Prospect Congregational Methodist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Sunday before services begin.

Mr. Huddleston passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Ann Huddleston of Five Points, AL; one daughter, Jessica L. Huddleston (Drew) of Roanoke; one son, Steven B. Huddleston of Indianapolis, IN; three grandchildren; his mother, Mary Jane Huddleston Payne (J. W.); one sister, Sheila Vaughan (Davis) of Roosterville, GA; and one brother, Leonard D. Huddleston of Woodland.

Pallbearers will be Drew Henry, Kevin Trask, Allen Trask, Ken Norton, Tony Taylor, and Adam Freed.

A longtime Randolph County resident, Mr. Huddleston was born in Carrollton, Georgia, on May 22, 1965, the son of James Albert Huddleston and Mary Jane Taylor Payne.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and worked as a truckdriver for YRC.  Mr. Huddleston was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; and one brother, Charles Ray Huddleston.
