Obituary of Dwayne B Adamson

Graveside services for Dwayne B. Adamson, age 73, of Wedowee will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Midway UMC Cemetery with Bro. Mike Brewer and Matt Bearden officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Adamson passed away Friday, November 6, 2020, at his residence.

Survivors include: one son, Tim Adamson (Amy) of Randolph County; three grandchildren, Karon, Leanne, and Chasity; one sister, Laverne Dotson; sisters-in-law, Patsy Laney of Ranburne and Fran Dale of Knoxville, TN; and two brothers, Comer Adamson of Niceville, FL, and Bobby Adamson of Wedowee, AL.

Pallbearers will be Alan Satterwhite, Gerald Adamson, Johnny Bearden, Johnny Parker, Joe Noles, and Frankie McClain.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Adamson was born on March 4, 1947, the son of Wes and Delia Bean Adamson.  He was a foreman and heavy equipment operator for Randolph County for over 30 years and loved to fish.  Mr. Adamson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann Adamson; and several brothers and sisters.
