Obituary of Ruby Nell Hoggle Dubose

Funeral services for Ruby Nell Hoggle Dubose, age 81, of Wedowee will be held on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at 3:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Dyess officiating and a private graveside service to follow.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00-3:00 PM on Sunday before services begin.

Mrs. Dubose passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Alabama.

Survivors include: two daughters, Sherry Mozley (Wayne) of Fairhope, AL, and DeDe White (Greg) of Anniston; three grandchildren, Morgan Koon, Mallory Nottenkamper (Joshua), and Leanne White; and one great-granddaughter, Sophia Koon.

A Perry County native, Mrs. Dubose was born on May 20, 1939, the daughter of John Wesley and Lillie Morgan Hoggle.  She was a member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church in Anniston and was the Assistant Vice President in the mortgage servicing department for ING Insurance Co. before retiring.  Mrs. Dubose was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alvis Wayne Dubose.
