Obituary of Maggie Harris Green

Maggie Harris Green, age 78, of Wedowee, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at Roanoke Healthcare in Roanoke, Alabama.

Survivors include one daughter, Gwendolyn Brabham (husband, Lemuel) of New York; one son, George Blue III (wife, Natasha) of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Jasmine, Rebekah, Leila, Natalia and Josiah; two great-grandchildren, Garey and Chloe; one sister, Eugenia Gantt of New York; two brothers, James Harris of Wedowee and Charles Harris of South Carolina.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Green was born February 10, 1942, the daughter of Vester and Ruthie Tucker Harris.  She was a member of Antioch Church and had been a social worker with the New York State Youth Division.  She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Vester Harris, Jr., Beatrice, Bernice, Jessie, Eugene; one grandchild, Faŕd Blue.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
