Obituary of Jackie Raye Taylor

Funeral services for Jackie Raye Taylor, age 76, of Wadley will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at 1:00 PM at Corinth Congregational Christian Church with Rev. Ricky Cummings officiating.  Burial will follow at Forrester's Chapel Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-1:00 PM on Wednesday before services begin.

Mrs. Taylor passed away Friday, December 25, 2020, at Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.

Survivors include: four daughters, Cecilia Walters (Mark Fox), Leslie Rice (Dale), Cheryl Albright (Roger), and Cynthia McCormick (Terry), all of Wadley; ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Diane Mahan and Kathy Morris; and one brother, Travis Stone.

Pallbearers will be Matt Walters, David Knight, Cameron Knight, Richard Tillis, David Tillis, and Michael Walters.

A Wadley native, Mrs. Taylor was born on November 29, 1944, the daughter of Arlin and Eva Paul Stone.  She was a member of Corinth Cong. Christian Church and was a housewife.  Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wayne Taylor; and two sisters.
