Obituary of William Robert Hansen

William Robert Hansen, age 77, of Wedowee passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Shelton Hansen of Wedowee; two daughters, Alexis Hansen of Glendale, AZ, and Stephanie Sexton of White Plains, GA; one son, Daniel Houser of Phoenix, AZ; 6 grandchildren, Ben Faville, Abel Hansen, Andrew Sexton, Shaun Newell, Andrea Houser and Trisha Houser; and 4 great-grandchildren, Lincoln Sanders, Maddox Sanders, Shane Betz, and Bryson Myers.

An Oklahoma City native, Mr. Hansen was born on March 28, 1943.  He was a member of Jordan’s Chapel Congregational Methodist Church, an electric engineer with the IBEW, and was a 32^nd Degree Mason.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
