Obituary of John Andrew Carr

John Andrew Carr, age 60, of Lineville, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021.

Survivors include: two sisters, Barbara Franklin (Joe) and Jane Stone (Earl), both of Smiths Station, AL; two brothers, Mike Carr (Ann) of Lincoln, AL, and Don Carr (Denise) of Montana; sister-in-law, Betty Carr of Acworth, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Smiths Station, Alabama native, Mr. Carr was born on May 20, 1960, the son of Roger and Crystal Grimm Carr.  He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Smiths Station, held a Bachelor’s Degree from Auburn University, and was employed at SIFAT. Mr. Carr was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Roger Carr; and one nephew, David Carr.

A memorial service will be held at SIFAT on July 31^st, 2021, with the times to be announced.
