William George Golson, age 75, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021, in Wedowee, Alabama.
Survivors include: one sister, Nancy Golson Smith of Rainbow City, AL; nieces, Randa Smith Hall (Steve) of Birmingham and Catherine Smith Bridgers (Mark) of Raleigh, NC; and nephew, Joseph Earl Smith (Dorothy) of Birmingham.
A longtime Atlanta resident, Mr. Golson was born in Mobile, Alabama, on April 28, 1946, the son of Earl George and Charlotte Ridgway Golson. He worked as a graphic designer for Stein Printing Company and freelanced for many other companies including Delta Airlines. Mr. Golson was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Joseph Allen Smith.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
