Obituary of Honoria Olga Ruiz-s

Graveside services for Honoria Olga Ruiz-s, 50, of Newell, AL, will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at Wedowee City Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

Ms. Ruiz-s passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mayra Ortiz of Opelika, AL, and Elizabeth Ortiz of Mexico; three sons, Felicitos Ortiz, Gustavo Ortiz, and Wilfrido Ortiz, all of Newell; her parents, Pedro Zeferin-m and Emilia Ruiz of Canton, GA; 17 grandchildren; three sisters, Leticia Zeferin, Marlen Zeferin, and Trinidad Garcia, all of Canton, GA; and a boyfriend, Jorge Roman of Newell, AL.

A Mexico native, Ms. Ruiz-s was born on January 30, 1970, the daughter of Pedro Zeferin-m and Emilia Ruiz.  She was a homemaker.
