Obituary of Timothy "Booger Red" Wiggins

Funeral services for Timothy “Booger Red” Wiggins, age 63, of Woodland will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. T. J. Morgan officiating.  Burial will follow at Gold Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00-11:00 before services begin on Saturday.

Mr. Wiggins passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Columbus Hospice in Columbus, Georgia.

Survivors include his longtime love, Ann Walker; one daughter, Haley Morris (Dylan) of Lineville; a grandson, Cole Morris; a sister, Pam Gay (Fred) of Ranburne; nieces and nephews, Wade & Samantha Gay, Jessica & John Hurley, and Kelly & Crystal Smith; and great nieces, Emory Hurley, Addison & Hensley Smith.

Pallbearers will be Wade Gay, John Hurley, Randy Gosdin, and Roy Noles.

A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mr. Wiggins was born in Carrollton, Georgia, on November 24, 1958, the son of Barney Z. and Kathelene Harden Wiggins.  He was a carpenter by trade.  Mr. Wiggins was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Albert & Gladys Harden; brother & sister-in-law, Donny & Judy Smith; and sister, Patricia McCurry.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Benefield Funeral Home to go towards final expenses.
