Graveside services for Richard Lynn Taylor, age 56, of Woodland will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Prospect Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery with Bro. Aaron McCullough and Bro. Donald Spradlin officiating. 

The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2022.

Mr. Taylor passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Stacy Dickens Taylor; sons, Dwayne Taylor of Panama City, FL, Bobby Taylor (fiancé, Savannah) of Woodland, AL, and Jimmy Taylor (fiance, Kristian) of Woodland, AL; mother, Lillian Brown Taylor; three grandchildren, Ethan Taylor, Aterus Taylor, and Grace Taylor; sisters, Shelbby McCormick of Graham, AL, Cindy Taylor of Graham, AL, and Debbie Seller (Terry) of Hollis Crossroads; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Daniel McCormick, Ben Hawthorne, Bobby Taylor, Gary McCormick, Will Stewart, Wayne Johnson, and Devon Posey.

A Bowdon, Georgia, native, Mr. Taylor was born on September 17, 1965, the son of Bobby Ray and Lillian Brown Taylor. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Roanoke and was a truck driver for M & M Trucking. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his father.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Benefield Funeral Home, 17624 Highway 431, Wedowee, AL 36278, to help with funeral expenses.
