Obituary of Mercedes Nicole Chisolm

Funeral services for Mercedes Nicole Chisolm, age 30, of Harrisburg, Illinois, will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Little officiating.  Burial will follow at Midway.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Tuesday before services begin.

Ms. Chisolm passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at St. Mary University Hospital in Missouri.

Survivors include father, Tony Chisolm; step-father, James Ross; grandparents, Jackie Greene and Mary Hall; brothers, Kyle Greene, Kevin Chisolm, and Matthew Greene; aunts, Teresa Chisolm, Chistey Cole and Caleda Warden; uncles, Todd Chisolm, Jason Greene, and Tommy Chisolm; and nieces, Adaleigh Greene, Avalynn Greene, Aria Blair, Ariel Atkins, Layla Atkins; nephew, Xander Atkins.

Pallbearers will be Mason Lipham, Gabe Andrews, Jason Greene, Riley Warden, Astin Perry, and Dallas Atkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Terrell Atkins, Michael Aguilar and Kendra Bell.

A Douglasville, Georgia, native, Ms. Chisolm was born on May 11, 1992, the daughter of Tony Lee Chisolm and Kimberly Michelle Greene. Ms. Chisolm was preceded in death by her mother.
