Obituary of Clarence Devone Prestridge

Graveside services for Clarence Devone Prestridge, age 58, of Newell will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Heaven Bound Cemetery in Cleburne County, Alabama, with Bro. Doug Sheppard officiating. Benefield Funeral Home will be in charge of the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM on Thursday before services begin.

Mr. Prestridge passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at his residence.

Survivors include his daughter, Ashley Lewis of Anniston, AL; son, Casey Harmon of Fayetteville, GA; three grandchildren; sister, Helen Norred of Newell; brothers, David Prestridge of Newell, Robert Pauley of Heflin, and Troy Glenn Prestridge.

A Randolph County resident, Mr. Prestridge was born on October 11, 1964, the son of Albert D. and Glenda Gibson Prestridge. He was a self-employed maintenance worker.  He was a member of Heaven Bound Church. Mr. Prestridge was preceded in death by his parents.
