Obituary of Joyce Jean Caldwell Davis

Joyce Jean Caldwell Davis, loving daughter of Maude and Voyd Caldwell, was born October 11, 1950, in Randolph County, Alabama. She was an amazing sister to Mollie, Boyce, Wayne, and Ralph. 

Her very best friend and perfect counterpart was her husband, Johnny Davis.

They enjoyed making many memories together and their favorite thing was time when they were with their family. 

Her girls, Tammy (Mark Traylor) & Tina (Scott Craven), esteem her as the best momma and they were her world. They gave her 3 of her most favorite gifts, Samantha (Zack Baggett), Trey (Shannon Fetner), and Taylor (Lesli Craven). She was a special Granny to them and shared her blue eyes with 2 great-grandchildren, Ryker & Reese. 

Joyce was a hard worker and made many friends throughout her years prior to retiring with Papa John in Malone, AL. She loved flowers, yard work, canning, dollar stores, AL football, Christmas decorating, and absolutely anything her grandchildren were involved in. 

She had a servant heart that was always ready to help. Her generous spirit and mother’s heart touched many. She had a gift of making everyone feel very special. Joyce loved her smalltown community and her Beulah Church family. The Lord was her strength and there was a joyful celebration in Heaven on August 12, 2022.  

Her family would like to invite you to celebrate her life with a public visitation on Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 3:00-5:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Home and a graveside service at 7:00 PM at Pine Grove Cemetery in Malone Sunday evening following visitation.
