Obituary of Dennis Ray Wiggins

Funeral services for Dennis Ray Wiggins, age 63, of Graham will be held on Monday, September 12, 2022, at 1:00 PM EST at Campground Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Wiggins officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00-1:00 PM EST on Monday before services begin.

Mr. Wiggins passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at his residence.

Survivors include: one daughter, Kelly Crews of Tallapoosa; two grandchildren, Kali Crews and Kasey Crews; his mother, Dorothy Jean Wiggins; one sister, Sue Lovvorn of Ranburne; one brother, Kenneth Wiggins of Graham; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mr. Wiggins was born in Carroll County, Georgia on June 29, 1959, the son of Charles E. and Dorothy Jean Otwell Wiggins.  He was a member of Campground Methodist Church and had a lifelong career as a truck driver.  Mr. Wiggins was preceded in death by his father; infant sister, Brenda Jane Wiggins; brother, David Wiggins; brother-in-law, Norris Lovvorn; grandparents, Silas and Emma Otwell and Ame and Lilly Wiggins; and step-grandmother, Freddie Truett Otwell.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Benefield Funeral Home to go toward final expenses.
