Obituary of Brenda Joyce Rollins

Funeral services for Brenda Joyce Rollins, age 70, of Woodland will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Woodland First Congregational Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Spradlin officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, September 12th. Mrs. Rollins will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning on Tuesday.

Pallbearers will be Seth Entrekin, Jake Entrekin, Ethan Hope, Andrew Rollins, Tony Harris, Evan Johnson, Gabe Rollins, Cade White, and Josh Rollins. Honorary pallbearers will be Elese White, Morgan Lipham, and Ashley Rollins.

Mrs. Rollins passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at her residence.

Survivors include: her husband, Donnie Rollins, of Woodland; two daughters, Donna Entrekin (John) of Bremen, GA and Denise “Sissy” Hope of Woodland; her mother, Mary Alma Vann Harris of Woodland; four grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Jeannie Rollins of Roanoke, Jan Harris of Brunswick, GA and Janice Blood of Elijay, GA.

Mrs. Rollins was born in Brunswick, Georgia on October 22, 1951, the daughter of John Willie and Mary Alma Vann Harris. She was a member of Woodland First Congregational Methodist Church. Mrs. Rollins was preceded in death by her father.
