Nancy Scales, age 74, of Wedowee passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, surrounded by family.
Survivors include: children, Chris (Sandi) Scales of Wedowee, AL, Lamar (Sheila) Scales of Columbus, GA., Jeffrey Scales of Temple, GA., Stephanie (Joseph) Phelps of Cummings, GA., and Cassandra Funderburke; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Scales was born on December 12, 1947, in Bowdon, GA. She is the daughter of Jewel William and Willie Mae Beam Graham. Mrs. Scales did social work, operating a group home for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Lamar Scales; a sister, Sherry Morgan; and a brother, Roger Palmer.
