Obituary of Scott Edward Foldenauer

Funeral services for Scott Edward Foldenauer, age 60, of Wedowee, will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Randall Skinner officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Saturday before services begin.

Mr. Foldenauer passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, at his residence.

He is survived by his two sons, Andrew Foldenauer of Wedowee and Steven Foldenauer of Atlanta; sister, Michelle Williamson (husband, Michael Heffernan); two brothers, Dale Foldenauer and Mike Foldenauer (wife, Deanna); and a sister-in-law, Ziller Foldenauer.

Mr. Foldenauer was born on February 13, 1962, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Ronald Michael and Patricia Anderson Foldenauer.  He was self-employed at his business Steering and Hydraulics, Inc. Mr. Foldenauer enjoyed playing baseball in his youth. Later in life he came to enjoy fishing and hunting. He especially took an interest in fishing on Lake Wedowee.     He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Greg Foldenauer and Gary Foldenauer.
