I am sorry for your loss. Barbara was my mother in law for 3 years but I saw her as a mother figure for longer. She was a wonderful woman of faith and always showed her love of God to those around her. May God comfort her family and loved ones.

She was a light that shined no matter what was going on. The childern at First Baptist church. AJ and Emily will be to sad not to get togive her the hugs. But they know they will see her againat Heavens gates.

Barbara I love you more than words can ever say. I saw you live your life for Christ in everything you did. I want the rest of the family to know that Barbara played a very important part in leading me to Jesus Christ. I was going through very trying times in my personal life. Barbara invited me to attend a special revival service at New Hope Baptist Church. At the end of the sermon the preacher asked everyone to turn to the person beside them and say, "if I die tonight I know that I will be in Heaven ". Barbara turned to me and with her beautiful smile she repeated the words to me. Suddenly I was speechless. As the tears flowed from my eyes I said "Barbara, I can't". Again with her sweet smile she simply asked if I would like her to go down with me. She led me to the altar and kneeled and prayed with me. I know that God was dealing with my heart but he gave her the exact things to say to me and do with me. I was baptized the next night and have never doubted my salvation again since. Thank you, Barbara. You were more than a niece to me. I can't be at your celebration of life today because I am in the hospital fighting pneumonia. I love you and I know that I will see you again. Your sister aunt ad your sister in Christ. Marilyn Burdette Pullen
