Obituary of Joann McSheridan

Graveside services for Joann McSheridan, age 72, of Woodland will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 11:30 AM at Napoleon Church of Christ Cemetery with Bro. David Daniel officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McSheridan passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston, AL.

Survivors include her husband, Richard McSheridan of Woodland; three daughters, Kelly McPherson of Florence, SC, Kimberly Long of Lincoln, AL, and Sandy Powell (Jamie) of South Mountain, PA; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wilma Williams (Greg) of Wedowee and Tommie Sue Cole (Terry) of Roanoke.

Pallbearers will be Andrew McPherson, Anthony McPherson, Joey Reid, and Todd Cole.

A Woodland native, Mrs. McSheridan was born on March 20, 1950, the daughter of Wilford and Cloie Haynes Wilson.  She was Christian by faith and worked as a seamstress before retiring.  Mrs. McSheridan was preceded in death by her parents.
