Funeral services for Reatha Holloway Daniel, age 94, will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Phillip Waites officiating. Interment will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30-2:00 PM on Sunday before services begin.

Mrs. Daniel passed away Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Traylor’s Nursing Home in Roanoke.

Pallbearers will be Hayden Williams, Will Phillips, John Wesley Hall, Marty Williams, Jay Phillips, John Hall, Scott Woody, and Jason Medlock

Survivors include her three great-nieces, Robin Holloway Williams (Marty), Melody Holloway Phillips (Jay) and Sherry Kay Holloway Hall (John); several great-great nieces and nephews including, Austin Williams, Hannah Phillips, Hayden Williams, Will Phillips, John Wesley Hall and Cash Hall; and a host of many other special nieces and nephews who loved and were loved dearly by Aunt Reatha.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Daniel was born on May 4, 1928, the daughter of Mann and Myrtle Bailey Holloway.  She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and worked as a seamstress at Palm Beach Manufacturing. Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Daniel; brothers, Easul, Roy, Ezra, J.D., Doyle, Hasel, Newman, and Onward Holloway; and sisters, Verdie Pool, Mae White, Dura Lane, and Cordell Adamson
