Graveside services for David Chandler McCain, age 27, of Newnan, Georgia, were held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Highway Congregational Methodist Cemetery with Bro. Jason Owens officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McCain passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, in Franklin, Georgia.

Survivors include his parents, David and Terrie Spears McCain, brother Holden T. McCain, sister Zoie E. McCain, significant other Courtney Lazarus of Tuscaloosa; grandparents, Gary and Judy Spears of Roanoke and Nelson and Linda McCain of Wedowee; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Teresa Spears of Woodland, Randy and Joyce Spears of Roanoke and Charles and Merita Johnson of Wedowee. 

A Roanoke native, Mr. McCain was born on September 26, 1995, the son of David T. and Terrie Spears McCain.  He was Christian by faith and worked as a contractor.
