Ellen Turner, age 85, of Bremen passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at her residence.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Turner Morgan of Roanoke; two sons, Robert Alan Turner of Tennessee and David Edward Turner of Roanoke; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
An Atlanta, Georgia native, Mrs. Turner was born on December 4, 1937, the daughter of Robert and Doris Wood. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church and worked in medical supplies. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Dean Turner; and one brother.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
