Funeral services for Florence “Zouri” Rollins Chase, age 92, of Wedowee will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ricky Cannon and Ricky Daniel officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 21 before services begin.

Zouri passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee surrounded by her loving family.

Survivors include: two daughters, Sonya Eason (Robert) and Kira Williams (Doug), both of Wedowee; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Libby Lowry of Lafayette.

Pallbearers will be Richard Pike, Steven Lines, Eason Herschbach, Mason Pike, Mitchell Pike, and Cooper Lines.

A Roanoke native, Zouri was born on June 29, 1931, the daughter of Luther S. and Minnie Pearl Veal.  She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Chambers County and worked as a seamstress for Butte Knit before retiring.  Zouri was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Millard Rollins, and Lynn Chase; four sisters and seven brothers.
