Obituary of Rebecca Smith

Memorial services for Rebecca Joyce Wyatt Smith, age 72, of Fayetteville, GA, will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Waites officiating.

Ms. Smith passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia.

Survivors include: one daughter, Sharon Hogan of Riverdale, GA; two grandchildren, Hunter Smith and Michael Hogan; one sister, Jane Wyatt of Batesville, SC; one aunt, Diane Rabern; one uncle, Jimmy Adams; one niece, Amanda Wyatt; and three cousins, Gayleen Wilmont, Arlette Wyatt, and Everett Dettmering.

An Atlanta, Georgia native, Ms. Smith was born on June 2, 1951, the daughter of Jesse Lawrence Wyatt, Jr., and Evelyn Irene Adams Wyatt.  She was Baptist by faith and worked as a computer programmer and secretary during her career.  Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her parents.
