A Wedowee native, Jamarkus was born on January 16, 2009, the son of Christopher Laran Parker and Shenikia Nelson.  He was a member of Weathers Heights Church of Christ and had just completed his freshman year of high school at RCHS.  During his brief presence, he spent his time in positive ways – his biggest love was his love of music.  He loved to sing. Jamarkus got up in the morning singing and went to bed singing.  He also loved to play the piano and guitar.  Jamarkus had a heart of gold.  He would give you the shirt off his back and the shoes off his feet if needed.  Jamarkus never met a stranger.  He absolutely loved people and wanted to help everyone.  Jamarkus loved his parents so much and he loved to ride.  There was never a time when his mom left home without him and his Bluetooth speaker.  My mother, Melinda Nelson, had nicknamed him Radio because he took his Bluetooth speaker with him everywhere he went.  As life continued and other fond memories evolved, time spent with family and friends will leave special memories in our hearts.

To all of Jamarkus’ special friends, just know that he loves you.

Memorials may be floral.
