Born in Carrollton, Georgia, on October 20, 2014, Cade is the son of Justin and Loren Horton Mitchem.  He attended Iduma Congregational Methodist and loved Jesus and going to church.  Cade loved his family and friends and had the biggest heart.  He was a big helper, whether it was with cooking or helping his daddy with outside work.  Cade never met a stranger and was the friendliest little boy.  He was ultra-competitive when it came to everything, especially sports.  Cade played and loved football, baseball, basketball, and soccer and was the quarterback of his little league team.  He was a huge Auburn Tigers fan, “War Eagle!” and Peyton Thorne was his favorite player. Cade loved music, riding a four-wheeler, guns and shooting, and was always ready to play.  He also loved playing video games and panning for gold with his PawPaw.  Cade was never without a ball of some kind in his hands.

Cade was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Smitty & Janet Smith, Big Joe Mitchem, Herbie Miller, Wayne & Frances Horton, and Joan & Thomas Smith; great-uncle, Little Joe Mitchem; and a cousin, Raygen Mitchem.
