A member of Oak Grove Church of Christ, he loved the Lord and had a deep respect of Him. All of his family prayers began with, “most Holy & Righteous Heavenly Father…”. Mr. Stewart enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was his late-night four-wheeler rides to look for rabbits with his grandchildren, his many hunting trips both locally and out of state, or adding an additional kitchen to cook and can the harvest from his garden. He enjoyed fellowshipping with his family and friends in his home where he and his wife would cookout for groups both large and small.  Mr. Stewart loved animals; his family even lovingly referred to him as a “dog whisperer”. He enjoyed his many trips travelling with his wife. He was musically inclined, he loved singing and playing his guitar “by ear”. Those that knew him, knew he was always good for a joke or an extremely long story. Mr. Stewart loved his family and will be deeply missed.
