Obituary of Larry Earl White

Graveside services for Larry Earl White, age 78, of Wedowee will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Morrison’s Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Sally Shaw officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mr. White passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah Lyner White of Wedowee; two daughters, Tina Warren (Char) of Golden Springs and Tammy Heard (Judd) of Anniston; two grandchildren, Ryleigh Seeger (Kyle), J. J. Heard; one great-grandchild, Henlee Ann Seeger; and one sister, Mary Worden of Colorado.

Pallbearers will be Char Warren, Kyle Seeger, Paul White, Donnie Strain, J. J. Heard, and Peyton Wilson.  Dewey Lyner will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

A Randolph County native, Mr. White was born on September 4, 1945, the son of Garvis and Pearl Bolt White.  He was a member of Morrison’s Chapel Church and worked as a safety trainer for Southwire.  Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald White; and a sister, Linda Thacker.
