Obituary of Hilda G Lovvorn

Graveside services for Hilda G. Lovvorn, age 78, of Wedowee will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Wedowee City Cemetery with Bro. Gilbert Staples officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Miss Lovvorn passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Traylor’s Retirement Center in Roanoke.

Survivors include: Tommy Lovvorn and Penny Lovvorn, both of Wedowee and T.J. Lovvorn, III.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Waldrop, Mike Hester, T. J. Lovvorn, III, David Tooker, Bryan Hill, Vernon Lipham, and Tony Heard.

A Randolph County native, Miss Lovvorn was born on September 24, 1945, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Juanita Holmes Lovvorn.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wedowee.  Miss Lovvorn was preceded in death by her parents.
