   Funeral services for Eddie Stewart, age 66, of Woodland will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Darnell Teal and Bro. Dennis Rollins officiating.  Burial will follow at Bear Creek Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 24. 

Mr. Stewart passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024, at Emory Hospital in Atlanta.

Survivors include: a daughter, Rachel Mayfield (Trae) of Woodland; three sons, Wesley Stewart (Misty) of Wedowee, Wayne Stewart of Port St. Joe, FL, and Wesley Jackson (Farrah) of Ranburne; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a sister, LouAnn Prince (Marty) of Wedowee; and a brother, Phil Stewart (Joyce) of Woodland.

Pallbearers will be Eli Lewis, William Stewart, Tim Shelton, Christopher Hardy, Ryan Calhoun, and Jamie Meadows.

A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mr. Stewart was born on October 24, 1957, the son of Jeff Sanders and Sammie Faye Smith Stewart. He was Christian by faith and was self-employed at his salvage yard. Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his parents.
