Obituary of Brinnie Belle Watts

Funeral services for Brinnie Belle Watts, age 79, of Newell will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow at Jordan Chapel Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.

The visitation will be held from 12:00-2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, before services begin.

Mrs. Watts passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA.

Survivors include: one sister, Johnnie Arevalo; one brother, Wayne Bowen (Dorothy Anne); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Watts’ nephews.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Watts was born on December 12, 1944, the daughter of Claudius and Odessa McDaniel Bowen.  She was Southern Baptist by faith and a retired seamstress.  Mrs. Watts loved gardening and flowers and could make anything grow.  She also enjoyed feeding the deer and birds.  Mrs. Watts was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mike Watts; three brothers, Homer Bowen, Horace Bowen, and Mayo Bowen; and a sister, Mary Greene.

Memorial may be floral.
