Funeral services for Alice R. Brewster, age 85, of Woodland will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Bro. Steve Dempsey officiating.  Burial will follow at Big Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Friday before services begin.

Mrs. Brewster passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Lineville Health and Rehabilitation.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, George Brewster of Woodland; one sister, Ruth Johnson of Lakeland, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A Richmond, Virginia native, Mrs. Brewster was born on May 27, 1939, the daughter of Rody and Ruth Robinson.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wedowee and worked as a secretary for the Clayton County, Georgia Water Authority before retirement.  Mrs. Brewster was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Nell; and three brothers, Woodrow Page, Charlie Robinson, and Elvin Robinson.
