With the passing of Jimmy Carter in recent days and all the publicity of the good works of Jimmy and his wife Rosalyn Carter I am reminded of all the good works of Mary and Sam which have benefited so many over the years in Randolph County. Truly a couple of integrity who leave behind a lasting legacy we all hope we too might leave upon our passing. I am the better for having my association with each of them.
