Graveside services for Joseph Elbridge Lesueur, age 87, of Wedowee will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wendell Ford officiating and Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Lesueur passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Tanner-East Alabama Hospital in Wedowee.
He is survived by one sister, Wanda Jacobs of Rome, GA.
A Tifton, Georgia native, Mr. Lesueur was born on April 13, 1937, the son of Joseph Elbridge and Mary John Shipman Lesueur. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and was a retired United States Air Force Sergeant. Mr. Lesueur was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Geneva Lesueur; and one sister.
