Funeral services for Larenza Henson, age 74, of Wedowee will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Monday, January 13, 2025

Mr. Henson passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Wright Henson of Wedowee; one son, Lorandy Henson (Liana) of Columbus, GA, and two grandchildren.

A Wedowee native, Mr. Henson was born on September 23, 1950, the son of Brady D. and Adella Lee Henson.  He was Baptist by faith and owned a concrete finishing business.  Mr. Henson was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Linton Henson and Brady Henson.
