Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Parker Andrews, age 77, of Wedowee, will be held Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Zion Ret Baptist Church with Rev. William Phillips officiating. Mrs. Andrews will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
Mrs. Andrews died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Wedowee Hospital.
Mrs. Andrews is survived by two daughters, Helen (husband James) Marsh of Wedowee, Joan (Billy Knight) of Wedowee; three sons, Scott (wife Essie) Andrews of Wedowee, Autrey Gene (wife Faye) Terrell of Wedowee, Michael Ray Terrell of Wedowee; special friend, James G. Terrell of Wedowee; one sister, Louise Goodwin of Wedowee; one brother, Charlie Will (wife Sue) Parker of Wedowee; twenty-one grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and nephew.
Mrs. Andrews was born, October 1, 1932, the daughter of Charlie and Bessie Trammell Parker, SR. She was a member of the Zion Rest Baptist Church and had been a Housekeeper. Mrs. Andrews was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Vickie N. Terrell.
