Obituary Notice

Graveside services for Mrs. Nonnie McGill Reese, age 86, of Wadley, will be held, 11:00 am, Friday, February 26, 2010 from the Potash Cemetery with Rev. Sherrill Corson officiating. Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2010.

Mrs. Reese died Tuesday, February 21, 2010 at East Alabama Medical Center.

Mrs. Reese is survived by one daughter, Freida Crossley of Ohatchee; four son, Anthony Reese of Dadeville, Laney Reese of Wadley, Crispin Reese of Wadley, Freddie Reese of Wadley; two sisters, Opal Moncus of Wadley, Macie Hodges of Wadley; thirteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

Mrs. Reese was born, November 11, 1923, the daughter of Ed and Mollie Camp McGill. . She was a member of Almond United Methodist Church and had been a seamstress for Clegg Manufacturing. Mrs. Reese was preceded in death by her husband, Tyrus Reese; her parents; one daughter, Elaine Brown.
