Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Jewell Bailey Fowler, age 87, of Wedowee will be held Saturday April 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM at New Home United Methodist Church with Rev. Benny Cosper and Rev. Jim Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Fowler passed away Thursday April 1, 2010 at her residence.
Mrs. Fowler is survived by her husband Otto Fowler of Wedowee, two daughters, Jackie Rollins of Breman, Ga., Sharon Snyder of Birmingham, two sisters, Attie Green of Rome, Ga., Faye Dingler of Atlanta, Ga., three grandchildren, Benjamin Rollins, Sherri McCain and Melanie McCain.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Rollins, Jack McKutchen, Jerry Green, Jimmy Shelton, Danny Little and Phil Lumpkin.
Mrs. Fowler was born July 6, 1922 the daughter of Doc and Vasser Spearman Murphy, she was a housewife and a member of New Home United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charlie Bailey, one grandson Daniel White and two sisters.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Wedowee on Saturday April 3, 2010 from 10:30 till 1:30 PM.
