Obituary of Logan Daniel Hancock

Obituary Notice Funeral services for Logan Daniel Hancock, age 8 months, of Woodland will be 2:00 pm, Friday, July 23, 2010, from Jordan's Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Brian Moore, Rev. David Holcombe, and Rev. Chris Mitchell officiating. He will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2010. Logan died Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Logan is survived by paternal grandparents, Ricky (Papaw) and Aurie (Mamaw) Hancock of Wedowee; maternal grandparents, Michael (Popie) and Patresa(Grams) Murphy of Woodland; one aunt, Heather (husband Owen) Henderson of Carrollton, GA; cousin, Madeline Faith Henderson; maternal great grandmothers, Betty Murphy of Woodland, Betty McCormick of Bowden, GA; paternal great grandmothers, Joyce Hancock of Roanoke, Coolidge Wortham of Wedowee Logan was born November 9, 2009. Preceded in death by his parents; William "Bill" and loving mother, Tabatha Hancock; paternal great grandfather, Milton Hancock; paternal great grandmother, Barnice Wortham; maternal great grandfather, Rev.
