Obituary Notice Funeral services T. V Bailey age 85 of Woodland will be held Wednesday August 11, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Mount Carmel Church of Christ with Bro. Ricky Murphy, Bro. Wilbur Bass and Bro. Mark Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Bailey passed away Monday August 9, 2010 at Wedowee Hospital. Mr. Bailey is survived by his wife, Willene Arrington Bailey of Woodland, two daughters Cynthia Bailey ( Jack) Johnson and Kathy Bailey Green both of Woodland, two sisters Bertha Almond of Woodland and Mavis Almon of Valley, one brother R.Z Bailey of Woodland, four grandchildren Brad (Ashley) Johnson, Kelli Johnson(Gus) McMurray, Amee Green, Amberlee Green ( Lee) Messer, one great-grandchild Alyx Johnson. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Bailey, Keith Blue, Jerry Rice, Steve Herren, J.R. Fincher, Alan Daniel, Dean Wysner, Greg Almond, Russell Bailey, Travis Edmondson, Wayne Spradlin and Basil Spradlin. Mr. Bailey was born November 1, 1924 the son of John Richard ( Bud) and Laura Wilson Bailey, he was retired from the Randolph County Board of Education, and a member of Mount Carmel Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law Wayne Green, a sister Erla Bailey Spradlin, three brothers J.A., John and Uklet Bailey. The family will receive flowers or donations be made to the American Cancer Society, or Countryside Hospice. The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home- Wedowee on Tuesday August 10, 2010 from 5 till 8 PM. Mr. Bailey will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
