Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Cora H. Wilder, age 88, of Wedowee, will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, December 17, 2010 at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gerald Sheppard and Jessie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wilder died Wednesday, December 15, 2010.
Mrs. Wilder is survived by one daughter, Brooksie Holloway of Opelika; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ken Bledsoe, Jeremy Brown, Albert Freeman, Chris Taylor, Kraig Taylor and Jessie Taylor.
Mrs. Wilder was born, February 25, 1922, the daughter of Hiram Ollie and Bertha Mae Young Whaley. She was a member of Mt. Grove Baptist Church and had worked as a textile presser for Palm Beach Company. Mrs. Wilder was preceded in death by her husbands, Curtis Holloway and J. C. Wilder; one daughter, Louise Brown; one son, Gary Holloway; her parents. On line condolences may be left at benefieldfhwedowee@gmail.com.
