Funeral services for Johnny Ray Whitley, age 44, of Woodland, will be held, Friday, December 31, 2010 at 10:00 am, from the Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Daniel officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Memory Gardens with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010.
Mr. Whitley died, Sunday, December 26, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. Whitley is survived one brother, Kim Lee Whitley of Woodland; one uncle, Doyle (wife Darlene) Stevens of Parona, GA; number of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Johnson, David Golden, Randy Bryan, George Harris, Tim Ferrule, Bob Sherwood and Jimmy Montalto.
Mr. Whitley was born, April 26, 1966 the son of Ray and Mary Christeen Stevens Whitley. He had been an electrician for Bonell Co., Newnan, GA. Mr. Whitley was preceded in death by his parents.
