Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Hanner Wilson, age 89, of Woodland, will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, December 31, 2010 from East Napoleon Church of Christ with Bro. Billy Prince, Jr., Bro. Brad Prince and Bro. Lee Messer officiating. Mrs. Wilson will lie in state one hour before the service at the church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2010.

Mrs. Wilson died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Tanner Medical Center.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by two daughters, Donna (husband Richard) Curvin of Woodland, Latricia (husband Mike) Preston of Carrollton, GA; two sons, Randy Wilson of Woodland, Billy (wife Genice) Wilson of Woodland; three sisters, Doris Morgan of Woodland, Lorene Cofield of Woodland, Inez McManus of Woodland; one brother, Charlie Hanner of Woodland; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Wilson, Brent Wilson, Codey Preston, Brian Preston, Jason Mitchell and Michael Hanner.

Mrs. Wilson was born, June 27, 1921, the daughter of Lee and Lola Harris Hanner. She was a member of the East Napoleon Church of Christ and had been an inspector for Lamar Manufacturing. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband, Lamon Wilson; her parents; four brothers, Roy, Ray, Elliott and Emmett Hanner; one son, Phillip Wilson.
