Obituary Notice
Funeral services for, Mr. Esul Robert Holloway, age 100, of Newell
will be 11:00 am, Friday, March 4, 2011, from the Benefield Funeral Chapel with
Rev. Gordon Taylor and Jason Reaves officiating. Burial will follow in Levens
Baptist Church Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00
to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011.
Mr. Holloway died Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at his home.
Mr. Holloway is survived by four grandsons, David (wife
Lisa) Reaves, Rodney (wife Debra) Reaves, Danny(wife Kay) Reaves, Chad(wife
Stephanie) Herren; two sisters, Cordell Adamson of Wedowee, Reatha Daniel of
Roanoke; one brother, Doyle Holloway of Lineville.
Pallbearers will be Jason Reaves, Steve Harper, Jeff Heard,
Buddy Holloway, Max Hadley, Kyle Reaves.
Mr. Holloway was born, September 7, 1910, the son of P. W.
(Mann) and Myrtle Bailey Holloway. He was a member of Caver's Grove Christian
Church and had been a farmer.
Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by 1st wife, Nellie Ruth
McCain Holloway, 2nd wife, Mattie Reaves Holloway; his parents; one
son, Bobby Ray Holloway; one daughter, Sue Holloway Farrow; six brothers, Roy,
Ezra, Newman, J. D., Hasel, Onward Holloway; three sisters, Verdie Pool, Mae
White and Dura Lang. Flowers will be accepted or donations to the Levens
Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. You may
