Obituary of Louis Gay Key

Obituary Notice Funeral services for, Louis Gay Key, age 59, of Wedowee, will be held, 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 10, 2011, from the Benefield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Forsyth officiating. Burial will follow in Pilgrim's Rest Baptist Church Cemetery with Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9. Mr. Key died Friday, April 8, 2011, at Wedowee Hospital. Mr. Key is survived by one daughter Lynn (Edward) Brimer of Townsend, TN and one grandchild Jessica Nicole Brimer, two sisters Barbara Blanks of Wedowee, and Dianne (Tony) Smith of Wedowee, one brother Larry (Sondra) Key of Valley, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Alfred Huddleston, Donald Morrison, Jerry Deese, Anthony Key, Quinton Blanks, and Danny Deese. Honorary Pallbearers will be Connie Huddleston, Loretta Morrison, Doris Deese, Dwain Howle, Larry Huddelston, Nelson McCain, and Ricky Benefield. Mr. Key was born, June 30, 1951, the son of Louis Dean and Nealie Daugherty Key. Mr. Key was preceded in death by his parents.
