Graveside services for Dorothy K. Gosdin age 81 of Heflin will be held Friday April 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM from Anniston Memorial Gardens with Rev. Keith Rivers officiating.
Mrs. Gosdin passed away Tuesday April 12, 2011 at her residence.
Mrs. Gosdin is survived by four daughters Kathy (Wayne) Norris of Anniston, Theresa
(Phillip) Sears of Birmingham, Deb (Mike) Murphree of Lincoln and Denise McLain of Eastaboga four grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Wayne Smith, Hollis Hall, Kenny Norris, Jerry Norris, Ken Swader and Bill Elliott. Honorary pallbearer will be Alex Sears.
Mrs. Gosdin was born October 29, 1929 the daughter of Varney C. and Mae Freeman Kittle. She was retired from Blue Mountain Industries and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Wivvis C. Gosdin.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home - Wedowee on Thursday April 14, 2011 from 5 till 8 PM.
