Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Clarence J. "Babe" Morrison age 75 of Woodland will be held Tuesday May 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Benefield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chris Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Morrison passed away Saturday April 30, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Morrison is survived by his wife Helen Morrison of Woodland, one daughter Bonnie Menard of Huntsville, two sons Dale Morrison of Morrison's Crossroads and Johnny Morrison of Newell, two sisters Lavenia Nelson of Lineville and Martha Carter of Roanoke, two brothers Junior Morrison of Delta and Al Morrison of Huntsville, twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Delmer Hanner, Larry Roberts, Jimmy Cofield, John Williams, Danny Taylor, Rodney Clark , Jimmy Nelson and Donna Morrison.
Mr. Morrison was born December 12, 1935 the son of John William and Elvia Duke Morrison. He was retired from the Randolph County Commission as a mechanic. He was a Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Clay Morrison and two sisters Evelyn Johns and Mavis Robertson.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home -Wedowee on Monday May 1, 2011 from 5 till 8 PM.
