Funeral services for Doyle Swan Holloway age 94 of Wedowee will be held Sunday June 19, 2011 at 3 PM at Benefield Funeral Home of Wedowee Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Holloway passed away Saturday June 18, 2011 at Lineville Health and Rehab Center.
Mr. Holloway is survived by two daughters Martha ( Wendell) Morrison of Wedowee and Deborah ( Alan) Rhoden of Boaz, two sons Gary ( Judy) Holloway of Roanoke and Ronald ( Beverly) Holloway of Wedowee, two sisters, Cordell Adamson of Wedowee and Retha Daniel of Roanoke, Ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Mr. Holloway was born May 16, 1917 the son of Pleasant W. and Myrtle Bailey Holloway. He was a self employed Farmer and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Wade Holloway, seven brothers and three sisters.
