Obituary Notice
Funeral services for Mildred Sutton Triplett age 89 of Wedowee will be held Tuesday July 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Pinetucky Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Dempsey officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Triplett passed away Saturday July 23, 2011 at her residence.
Mrs. Triplett is survived by three sons Paul Triplett, Alton Triplett and Jimmy Triplett all of Cleburne County; two sisters Mae Lipham and Joyce White both of Shawmut; one brother Edward Sutton of Wedowee; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren;
Pallbearers will be Steve Lipham, Stanley Merrill, David Triplett, Bradley Triplett Jeremy Barker and Tim White.
Mrs. Triplett was born April 28, 1922 the daughter of Lonnie and Belle Allen Sutton. She was a homemaker and a member of Pinetucky Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Howard Triplett, one brother Grady Sutton, two sisters Lottie Gaston and Beulah Reaves.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home-Wedowee on Monday July 25, 2011 from 5 till 8 PM. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
